For fifteen
years, as a project engineer, project manager and
estimator for S.J. Groves Co., he was personally
involved in the construction of over 50 highway bridges
in New York State including those on the Rochester Outer
Loop from Kendrick Road to Winton Road. As an estimator,
he analyzed hundreds of others in New York and other
states throughout the Northeast. He was Project Engineer
for the construction of the concrete portion of the
Tioga-Hammond Dam. That Corp of Engineers project was
located in Tioga, PA. and involved over 100,000 cubic
yards of structural concrete.
For eight
years Mr. Thomas Hager was Commissioner of Public Works for
Steuben County. In that position he was responsible for
the maintenance of 382 bridges. And during that eight
year period over 150 of those bridges were rehabilitated
or reconstructed.
Mr. Hager's
background in bridge design, construction and public
administration provide him with a unique ability to
provide designs which are appropriate and cost
effective. |
